Railway Station and Subway Station Project
Project OverviewA great amount of information needs to be broadcasted in busy railway stations and subway stations. To offer the passengers a comfortable waiting environment, there must be excellent background music in the waiting room or the main station lobby. To assure the safety of the passengers and the integrity of the cargo, fire alarm broadcast must be available. The public address system in the railway station and subway station is the large-scale public address system developed in integration to meet these demands.
User RequirementsIn railway station or subway station, the broadcasting of the background music must be automatic, the broadcasting of information must be speedy and broadcasting of fire alarm must be prior. According to the user requirements, the station is necessary to be divided into a number of zones. Any location in these zones must be covered by public address, including the station lobby, waiting room, shops, underground parking lots etc.
Requirements of System Design1. The system should be complete with control functions, be easy to operate and can broadcast a wide range of programs;
2. The system should have a good compatibility, extensibility and auto-detecting function;
3. The system should be able to connect the fire-fighting system and can serve for fire emergency broadcasting system when the alarm rings.
System Configuring and Design Project
Large-scale public address system is used by large stations, usually functioning as a subsystem of the entire information system. With a computer-controlled management centre, dynamic information about all kinds of trains and services is broadcasted. The grade of automation in services of station is improved. To the convenience of passengers from different countries and regions, the system broadcast relevant information in two languages Mandarin and English.
The music sources of broadcast are from CD player, cassette deck and radio receiver. The information of broadcast is from the broadcasting centre, the fire-control center and the digital voice files. Broadcasting sources have different priorities in which emergency broadcast has the highest priority. In case of emergency, all the normal broadcast in corresponding zones will be cut off, replaced by the emergency broadcast and evacuation broadcast from the fire-control center. The contents of broadcast in other zones remain unchanged.
